Welcome at the homepage of the Verband Deutscher Kleinhundezüchter e.V. (what means German Toy Association) here on the Internet! There couldn´t be anything better to introduce our club to you, as with an passage out of our 50-year-chronical:

"... a half century "Verband Deutscher Kleinhundezüchter e.V."!
50 years with all kinds of "Ups" and "Downs" a club and it´s members can get through. Years, where admirers of our breeds built up our Club; Years, where single members believed, that they could only sketch in profile if they´d build up second and third breedclubs; Years, where members of the committee almost ruined our club - but also years, where club- and committee-members together raised our club to what it stands for today:
An established toy-breed-club with the highest number of members, a financial reliability and a stock, which is highly reputated not only in europe!

With one of the most fastidious breed-rules within the breed-clubs belonging to the German Kennel-Club, our members work hard to breed physically and mentally healthy dogs. The success of VK bred show-dogs all over the world is showing us, that we are on the right way!

At the same time, our breed-rules limiting the "commercial increase" - at least in our club!. Not the quantity but the quality counts - and without a doubt - we do have a high quality in the breeds we´re holding the stud-book for! To the best of our knowledge and belief, we can say that our breeders working with their stock on a very high quality niveau and we will make sure that this will remain!

With up to 40 shows a year - spread all over germany - we are offering the possibility to friends, admirers and breeders of our breeds, to compete against international exhibitors. On the shows, organized by our club, our breeds are judged by our Special-Judges (which are educated by VDH/FCI-rules), as well as by Group-Judges or Allrounders from the German Kennel Club. To give the exhibitors which are showing their dogs only on the national shows here in germany the opportunity, to get an "international comment" about their dogs, we regularly invite judges from FCI-Member-Countries to our shows!
