The Verband Deutscher Kleinhundezüchter e.V. (VK) (what means German Toy Association) welcomes you at our website ! All toy breeds in one club is our device - therefore we are specialised in the following breeds: Bichon frisé, Bolognese, Cavalier-King-Charles-Spaniel, Chihuahua Smooth- und Longcoat, Havanese, Lowchen, Maltese, Pugs, Papillon, Phalène, Schipperke, Shih-Tzu, Brussels Griffons.

Our websites are online since already 15 years. Almost 1 million dog fanciers visited our website, which is therefore certainly one of the well known dog websites. We are pleased to welcome you now on our new designed webpages ! please take a moment to go through our toy breeds, our activities and informations and have fun in our German Toy Association !

Hopefully we will have lots of good News in 2010 ...

we want to start in the new year with a new updated calendar (updated 10th January 2010) and new dates about the ZZP and BT . Since autumn 2009 we have our complete Breeders List of all breeders and all breeds in the Toy Association - and for all breeders - we have a complete Zuchtwartliste. Our list of champions 2009 and 2008 < NEW ! > 2007 is online now. Find all Youth Champions, Veteran-Champions and Champions of the German Toy Association on this list. We begun with the Champions of the year 2009 and will write follow up with all the Champions also from the years before. If you wish to add a picture to your champion dog, please send me an email with the picture and the name of your dog and also the year of the Championship title / or the certification date. Please send it to c.hollweg@rosebury.de. In a few weeks we want to go online with our members area of the German Toy Association here on the website. All members who are breeders in the German Toy Association will be allowed to see our "members area". News will follow soon. The German Toy Association wishes all toy friends around the world a wonderful happy new year !

What's new in Autumn 2009

It took a long time till they had been finished ... our complete breeders lists of all breeders in all breeds with full address. At this time they are in PDF, but I hope to find the time to change it to html. The second important list is our complete Zuchtwartliste.
Hopefully these both lists will make life easier, on both sides - to find a potential breeder and to find a Zuchtwart. ...
If you are looking for a puppy, please note that our breeders have puppies only occasionally available and most timest you will have to wait for a puppy. I did a new show calendar 2010 and added new dated for the ZZP and Mopsbelastungstest.

The German Toy Association wishes all members and toy breed friends a wonderful golden Autumn !

With up to 40 shows a year - spread all over germany - we are offering the possibility to friends, admirers and breeders of our breeds, to compete against international exhibitors.

On the shows, organized by our club, our breeds are judged by our Special-Judges (which are educated by VDH/FCI-rules), as well as by Group-Judges or Allrounders from the German Kennel Club. To give the exhibitors which are showing their dogs only on the national shows here in germany the opportunity, to get an "international comment" about their dogs, we regularly invite judges from FCI-Member-Countries to our shows!

to the breed protrait of the Schipperke !

Once a month we would like to introduce you one of our breeds - the well known one like the Chihuahua or Cavalier or Pug - same as the more seldom ones like the Phalène, Schipperke, or Brussels Griffons here.
We have many different characters and coat varieties in our club. You can find the smooth coat at the Chihuahua or Pugs or the breed specific coat of the Bichon frisé and Shih-Tzu. The very small breed Chihuahua in comparison to the more sportsman breeds like the Papillon or the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
You can find an overview of all our toy breeds at our Breed Descriptions. We hope that we will be able to introduce you one of our more seldom breeds here, soon. We would like to begin with the Breed Portraits in July with the Maltese breed. I hope that many breeders are going to send me lots of interesting photos !
